Dereham Sixth Form College urgently required additional space to house an increase in students, and a shortage of study space had always been highlighted by the students as a concern.
The classroom is a standard eco-classroom™ design; adjusted to accommodate a study suite that also acts as a café area.
Completed in just six weeks the new building is a huge success for the college and the students make full use of their new facility throughout the day.
The folding / sliding screen to the end wall allows the café to interact with the outside space and picnic seating area increasing the capacity of the building.
