"We needed a bespoke early years special needs facility to be fitted on a site with tight access. The biggest challenge was to build within a six week window and for all schools that's a huge challenge. The project management went really smoothly and eco-classrooms worked to what we needed - rather than what they needed - there were a range of contractors on-site over the summer break, and eco-classrooms adapted their programme where necessary to fit in with our schedules. When they came back to school, the staff were blown away with the results - it's beyond what we expected, and it's exactly what we needed. The free-flow element was critical for our needs, and the design fits the tight space available really well. Whatever the weather throws at us - the building delivers a perfect temperature all year round, this is a must for our students. So it's proving to be an energy efficient building that blends brilliantly with our woodland setting."
