Single Primary Classroom

Great Dunham Primary School

Single primary school classroom

Great Dunham Primary School was a rural primary school severely lacking in teaching space. The school already had one existing mobile classroom but felt an eco-classroom would be a better investment in the future of the school compared to a traditional mobile classroom.

The classroom is the standard eco-classroom™ design - a single storey timber framed stand alone structure and was constructed in just seven weeks. Environmental credentials include an Air Source Heat Pump, sun-tubes to make full use of natural daylight and newspaper filled, super-insulated walls and roof to reduce the energy usage and running costs compared to a traditional built classroom.
